Allah Akbar and Marg bar Diktator

Iranian Tiamen square

Wouldn’t want to be a Mullah tonight… I am not sure they’ll be able to quell this uprising.

Wall to wall sound in Tehran’s night as nobody sleeps and adds their voice to the shouts of “Allah Akbar and Marg bar Diktator (death to the dictator)”. The custom was started in opposition of the late Shah back in 1979. The repeat performance bodes ill for the Mullah regime.

Real Hope’N'Change is coming to Iran over this next few days.

Fearing for his safety, Senator John Kerry has canceled his Obama-ordered trip to Iran intended to support the Mullah regime.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei who last week took on a self-proclaimed title of “Imam” and Leader of the Revolution, which makes him an emissary of Allah whose every wish and desire HAS to be obeyed by devout Shia Moslems, is now in hiding. Still possibly inside Iran – several armed helicopters are circling and hovering above his Tehran residence surrounded by Special Forcesto protect it, though he is no longer there.

John Kerry not going is positive, now what kind of positive proactive measures should we take. I’m all for people fighting for freedom, and it sure looks like that is happening now in Iran.

A big hat tip to Bloggers like yourself for making sure people can learn of what is happening in Iran, how those people are struggling.

Indeed!! Thank you very much. I wasn’t aware at all of the extent of the rebellion. Those folks, strange as they seem to me, need all the help that they can get. It’s either they get the help to toss the current administration or they get bombed back into the stone age. Israel WILL NOT ALLOW NUKES IN IRAN!!! And you can take that to the bank.

Sure hope they can toss’em. Be a shame if they got wasted because of a nutcase dictator and his cohorts.

I liked your scribble. We need more of them. I do wish to bring to everyone’s attention a small overlooked thought.
Why does everyone think that Iran is going to sit back and wait for an Israeli or USA response?
Iran can and MAY make the first move to change the dynamic.
When they took over the Iraqi oil well, it was a small, but significant message that they can and will make their own moves. They have the strings to start a Hezbollah action against Israel and they can mine and close the straights of Hormuz. Maybe not completely, but it will cause a pile of trouble.
I also note the stories (leaks) in the NYTimes suggesting the atomic energy commission has a report that Iran is much closer to having the bomb then folks thought. Further, in the UK paper a story was leaked that Israel gave Russia a list of the names of the Russian scientist currently working on Iran’s nuclear ambition. The duplicity is staggering.
The other assumption is that the current violence n Iran is a try for democracy. One may want to stop and think about that.
The opposition may want a regime change, but that doesn’t mean democracy, equality for women or freedom as we know it. It could just mean a different kind of Mullah rule.
