Byers is an embarrassment to academe. He’s an instant expert in whatever field he so decides. He’s symptomatic of everything that is wrong with today’s institutions of higher learning, i.e. tenured professors whose grasp of the real world never existed, and who indoctrinate students with their distopian marxist worldview. Canada would be better off without the Byers of this world, but then, who would we hold up as the poster boy for the inflated-egos and utterly ignorant specimens who inhabit the social “sciences” and even more laughable women’s “studies” departments in third rate universities.

If you vote for the Greens they will want to exterminate all humans in order to save the polar bear. If you vote for the NDP they will offer each bear their own free raft courtesy of the taxpayer. If you vote for the liberals they will shoot all the bears and turn them into plush rugs and blame it on the conservatives of course.

Unless he lives/visits in northern Canada it is doubtful whether he would ever see polar bears in the wild – oil sands shut down or not.

What a bunch of non-thinkers these leftie enviro’s are.

Or maybe he thinks the zoo is the “wild”
