Harper Is Fine – Conservative.ca Gets Hacked. Here’s A Clue Who Did It.

June 7th, 2011 | 3 Comments | Posted in activists

…wondering when they’ll notice the twitter URL in the website’s code now..

www.twitter.com/lulzraft is the culprit.

They’ve been busy hacking sites over the past few days, and launched a new twitter account for this. If you look at the followers, they seem to be journalists.. so I may not be the only one on to them.

Hackers pull off Harper choking hoax:

Prime Minister Rushed to Hospital After Breakfast Incident appeared briefly on www.conservative.ca

The site, which is powered by an Expression content management system by  www.backbonetechnology.com, needs to be have a bit of work done to fix the break-in… and I am sure they’ll be back. Took me a minute the find remnants of the hack.. not sure how competent the site admins are.

The hole was announced online May 7th:

Bury The Post Office. Strike is On.

May 31st, 2011 | 5 Comments | Posted in activists

Canada is set to face its first postal strike since 1997 starting at 11.59pm (Eastern Daylight Time) on Thursday June 2nd.

The union said it wants Canada Post to address issues such as inadequate staffing, excessive workload and what it says is “constant harassment of workers when they are sick or injured.”

From the post office that doesn’t actually deliver mail to your home anymore.. isn’t it time we shut the thing down?

After doing an inventory of our mail, I think we can actually turn it off this week. We only get bills, and now it’s possible to get all of our bills via email. My goal is to be mail free by the weekend. Try epostit’s easy to set up and divert your bills electronically. The only question is will Canada Post keep it running during the strike?

If someone wants to send me something physical, they can use Fedex or UPS… which you can count on to actually get it there the next day.

And for our enviro friends, think of the C02 we’ll save, the uncut trees and the overall quality of life improvement Canadians would have with the death of the Post Office.

The only issue us Welfare,  Unemployment and Pension cheques… forcing these to go electronic would probably save millions by uncovering the fraud within each system. It’s interesting that the posties will still deliver these even when on strike.

CanadaPost responds to the strike notice: Canada Post issued the following news release in response to CUPW’s notice that the union plans to begin strike activities at 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 2, 2011.

Canada Post’s offer provides:
• Annual wage increases leading to a top rate of $26 per hour for both new and existing employees;
• A defined benefit pension plan for both new and existing employees despite a $3.2-billion solvency
deficit;
• Up to seven weeks vacation;
• Job security for both new and existing employees.
With in excess of 17% Lettermail volume decline since 2006, Canada Post’s challenges are well understood.

Canadians – Take the Postie Challenge… cut your dependency on mail.

Posties – take a walk... Target is opening soon – you can try to get a job there.

Bonus: The BC HST Referendum requires the mail… it may get delayed.

Glenn Beck Takes Over For Obama

America is leaderless.. and Glenn Beck’s speech yesterday is probably the best one on the state of Japan today.

Can’t imagine Obama ever saying this.

Prayers for Japan.

Why Muslim Women Will Never Get Rights.

This woman says it all… I am amazed that any woman would propose such a thing. Especially a lawyer.

When the war of minds comes to this, you start to wonder what is wrong with these people and why they are stuck in a world of failure. She fails to see the irony in what she is promoting.

Hate breeds hate and they are breaking new ground here.

Tough Love

September 17th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in activists

The first article is on how “tough” our proposed laws are on the innocent kids.

The next describes a normal weekend teenage party.

Where’s the balance?

The federal government’s bill proposes several changes to the YCJA, most notably making “protection of society” a primary goal of the legislation and adding “denunciation and deterrence” to sentencing principles.

It would simplify the rules to keep “violent and repeat young offenders” in pre-trial detention when necessary and would require the Crown to seek adult sentences for some serious crimes, such as murder and aggravated assault. It would also enable courts to impose “more appropriate sentences” on violent and repeat offenders and would give judges discretion to publish the names of young offenders convicted of violent crimes.

In his testimony last spring, Richard told the committee that the bill is too punitive and suggested that Canada needs a national mental-health strategy — both for youth and adults — in the criminal justice system.

Glenn Beck Dares To Promote Values and God.

August 28th, 2010 | 3 Comments | Posted in activists

Glenn Beck for President

The Glenn Beck event taking place is a rally to restore Faith, Hope and Charity and have people return to God. Not a religion, but God.

Read what the press is saying and frantically trying to do to put down this racist, white, conservative, tea bagging movement.. it’s a study on how the left thinks.

At last count there are over 3,000 stories, and probably the best view of how much the left fears him, would be here. And this is from the CBC.

It’s hard to see how you could knock an event that focuses on Faith, Hope and Charity, promoting God, Honor and Integrity.

But their heads are exploding over this, and if anything, it’s fun to watch.

Not that the left is prone to judge…

From the storyline:

From the steps of the memorial, Beck told the crowd of largely Tea Party supporters that the United States has “wandered in darkness” for too long and now is the time to “concentrate on the good things in America.”

Winnipeg Free Press: A largely white and heavily patriotic crowd of flag-waving conservatives gathered at the foot of the iconic Lincoln Memorial on Saturday to hear Fox News personality Glenn Beck reassure them that America “begins today to turn back to God.

The Baltimore Sun: The brand of American history taught by Glenn Beck Saturday at his rally would not pass muster in a mediocre middle school. (that’s the problem – they’ve rewritten history).

The Guardian: Tens of thousands descended on Washington today for one of the biggest culture clashes in decades – one that pitted an almost exclusively white crowd against one that was predominantly African-American. Both claimed the legacy of Martin Luther King. (Race baiting)

Live feed here.

Google gets in the game.. switches the map for Lincoln Memorial. Forgets to do no evil.

The list goes on for pages… They are going all out on a campaign to quiet Mr. Beck, and the previously silent majority. They have avoided showing the crowds, as it looks to be far in excess of 200,000.

And the race baiting theme has found a home Canada:

Mitch Potter at the Toronto Star: Tea Party rally big on God, short on colour. By last count he wrote three articles on the event. I don’t believe he watched the event and saw that blacks were well represented as presenters, given awards, and were there in the audience. America is 79.2% white, so it’s logical that a quick scan might show a high number of “crackers”. With at least 500,000 attending, it marks one of the most successful events in recent years.

Canada needs a Glenn Beck of its own to awaken our silent majority… to counter the control left has of us.

I keep wondering when we’ll wake up to the fact that the government here taken away freedoms and raises taxes on a monthly basis, without a peep from the electorate. The impending crash and burn of the US will damage us tremendously, and most of Canadians are blissfully ignorant of what this means.

Take a look at Alberta if you want an example. How they could be underwater with $70+ oil escapes me. And they are the closest thing we have to a conservative gov’t.

When (not if), the recession turns to a”great” depression in the next few months, we’ll find ourselves unable to pay for the social programs we have in place, and the cuts will be forced on us.

Think of Canada as a business – The US is bankrupt and they are our biggest customer.

It’s our choice if we’ll react like Greece, or if we can actually find our way on our own without the Nanny state.

The values Glenn Beck is promoting will be the only way to survive the fall of our socialist system.

In case you missed this racist, political, right-wing, teabagger event: (viewer warning)

It’s now clear who Nancy Pelosi was talking about.

June 8th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in activists

Nancy’s famous quote from not so long ago…

“I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw … I saw this myself in the late ’70s in San Francisco,” Pelosi said, choking up and with tears forming in her eyes. “This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and … I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made.”

Now we know who she was talking about. Keep in mind that Code Pink is almost all women.

An open letter to Helen Thomas

By YORAM DORI
06/07/2010 06:32

In light of your recent remarks that Jews must “get the hell out of Palestine” and “go home,” I think I should tell you about my parents’ families.

Dear Ms. Thomas,

I read on numerous Web sites the remarks attributed to you (and I did not see any denial) that we, the Jews must “get the hell out of Palestine” and “go home” to Germany or Poland. I am convinced that you are aware of the events which took place during the years 1939-1945 but, to be certain, I think it appropriate to tell you a little about my parents and their families.

My mother was sent to Palestine from Germany in 1933 with the rise of the Nazis to power by her farseeing parents. The British blockade, which prevented Jews fleeing the Nazi horrors from entering, made it difficult for her and only the pretext of coming on a tourist visit enabled her to enter and remain alive. Her older sister, Sarah, her husband and three children aged 12, 10 and seven did not succeed in finding a way of coming to Palestine and were sent by the Nazis to Poland and from there, their journey to the Auschwitz gas chambers, was short. I understand that it is there that you wish to send me.

My father, who lived in Austria, also showed resourcefulness and immediately on the German invasion and sailed to Palestine. On the way – again the British blockade – he was forced to throw his passport into the sea so that, heaven forbid, they would not send him back to Austria, another country you wished I was moving to. His older brother and his wife, who did not go with him, were murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators.

My parents, who, as mentioned, with lifesaving initiative, fled from Europe before they were murdered, arrived in a desolated and barren country, worked in orchards, barely supported themselves and, by the way, were happy with their lot. In 1947 upon hearing of the UN resolution on the partitioning of the country, they danced in the streets, even though most of the area of Israel was torn from its sovereignty. For brands who survived the fire, it was enough.

The Palestinians and Arab countries, who gained most of the area, refused to accept the UN resolution and began a war to annihilate us. Only three years had passed since the liberation of Auschwitz and again we – the Jews – faced the danger of annihilation. To our joy, 600,000 Jews were victorious over millions of armed Arabs. It appears that justice has power and strength of its own.

IN THE 62 years of our existence, we have had seven wars, thousands of terror attacks, buses which have exploded in streets, firing into schools, mortars fired on kindergartens. Yet you wish to exile us back to the inferno, as if nothing happened 65 years ago in Europe, as if our hands have not been stretched out for peace since the establishment of the state?

We were victorious in the wars imposed upon us by Egypt and we signed a peace agreement with it after yielding all the territory and all the oil. We signed a peace agreement with Jordan. We yielded all the territory and much water. We withdrew from Lebanon to the international border and, in return, we received Hizbullah katyushas on our citizens. We left Gaza and in return, we received massive firing on our citizens in the South.

Are you aware, Ms. Thomas, that many children from Sderot and the area around Gaza wet their beds until a late age out of fear of the Hamas missiles? And it is us that you wish to exile? Why? Because you think that we are weak or because it annoys you that we are not defeated?

As someone, who throughout his adult life has been a member of the Israeli “peace camp,” notwithstanding you and your strange and angering views, my friends and I (and I hope also my government) will continue to turn over every stone and scour every corner to attain peace. Peace, which will enable us to the smallest extent to live and our neighbors, the Palestinians, to establish a country and to flourish and prosper.

To achieve this, we are prepared to make great concessions, to give back all the territories gained as a result of wars which our neighbors forced on us. There is only one thing we want in return – life. A quiet life, a life without terror, a life without missiles, a life like the one you have in Washington and which I, in Israel, also deserve.

hmmm… to all the jew haters, this might be too much of a demand.

Bilderberg 2010 – The Guest List

June 7th, 2010 | 4 Comments | Posted in activists

Gordon Campbell

“I DON’T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT PEOPLE LIKE ME AS A MEMBER” Groucho Marx.

Is Premier Gordon Campbell is at the Bilderberg 2010 meeting?

If so, why is Peter Mansbridge there? And, Bill Gates?

It’s enough to start a conspiracy…

A supposedly leaked list of delegates attending the Bilderberg 2010 conference in Spain between June 3 and June 6  has been published.

It’s an annual invitation-only meeting of some of the world’s most influential leaders in government, banking, business, and the media.

Here’s the Canadians from the list:

CAN Campbell, Gordon Premier of British Columbia

CAN McKenna, Frank Deputy Chair, TD Bank Financial Group

CAN Clark, W. Edmund President and CEO, TD Bank Financial Group

CAN Prichard, J. Robert S. President and CEO, Metrolinx

CAN Reisman, Heather M. Chair and CEO, Indigo Books & Music Inc.

CAN Mansbridge, Peter Chief Correspondent, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation

If there is anything to the legend of the group, why did they drop their standards by so much. I mean really, Peter Mansbridge?
