CNN’s Susan Roesgen – Journalist or Media Whore?

April 17th, 2009 Posted in activists

Here’s what happened after the CNN cameras were turned off…

Susan Roesgen isn’t a reporter – she’s one of those “community organizers” in disguise working for the Obama administration’s attack club.

In her blind loyalty, she cannot grasp that people aren’t protesting the runaway spending as a Republican vs. Democrat issue.

This was journalism at its worst. CNN has lost whatever remaining credibility they had as a news organization.

Americans emailing her to let her know how they feel have now found that email to Roesgen’s CNN email address (susan.roesgen@turner.com) is returned as address unknown.

It is pretty telling when on-air “reporter” Roesgen’s email address suddenly is unknown.

If you’d like to email CNN about its unprofessional “journalists” try these other email addresses:

CNN Executive Vice President Ken Jautz: ken.jautz@cnn.com

Philip Kent, the Chairman & CEO of CNN: phil.kent@turner.com

More on this and another video here.

MSNBC’s Media Whores:

Keith Olbermann and his guest Janeane Garofalo actually called Party-goers “a bunch of teabagging rednecks,” adding “this is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up.”

But that’s just the beginning… Olbermann and Garofalo engaged in the most vile, hate-filled attacks on average American citizens ever conveyed on national television by so-called journalists.

I won’t bother embedding video… transcript here.

Um, so that “Obama is Fascist” guy was an objective observer of the political situation?

  3. Paul M Says:

That “Obama is Fascist” guy wasn’t a journalist.

  4. Cranky or Just a Crank Says:

Eric, it must be on the other side of the sign, “… but the Republican Party is just fine” or something to that effect.

Obama is the (nominal) head of government/state that is imposing the measures and implementing the policies that this chap sees as fascistic.

It isn’t a zero sum game Eric – just because you don’t like the one side, doesn’t mean that you’re in love or can even tolerate the other side.

You seem to be make the same simplistic analysis or simple-minded mistake that the media is making – i.e. that this is all just party politics and not just a significant number of significantly pissed off people that have been pushed too hard and are pushing back.

‘You don’t have to be so antagonistic’ whines the reporter, moments after (for the benefit of the cameras) she was denigrating the protesters and implying they were racists, bigots and un-American.

I bet she felt mighty uncomfortable when she was surrounded by those who wanted to be heard..!!

I love how CNN, MSNBC etc are portraying this movement as a child of the ‘right wing media’.

Not like the last eight years, of course, where the left wing media never took part in an organized campaign to demonize conservatism, mock the president etc..it’s payback time for the Dems kids, and they are not going to let you forget it..
