“My son loved toll booths”? This guy has just joined Cindy Sheehan in the disrespect your son category.

Is it just me, or is this egregious pandering for a vote? What kid “loves toll booths?” I mean, it’s sad his son died, but he makes him sound like a latter day Rain Man haunting the byways in search of a tollbooth. And what would he do if he saw the type of tollways we have in north Texas where there are no tollbooths? Would we have to put those back in order to make this man feel better? And should we vote for tollroads in order to assuage his grief? Excuse me if I say “I don’t get it.”

Unbelievably crass. These people have no shame and no limits. I thought it couldn’t get worse, and then he dug out that piece of bloodied uniform.
