Freedom In Iraq. They Have Moonbats Too.
A Sadrist is a little upset that America has brought liberty and democracy to Iraq – and decided that throwing his shoes at President Bush was the best way of showing it. Bush was unfazed by the incident. “I didn’t feel the least bit threatened by it,” he said.
The immediate cheering from the wacky left shows how they are still suffering from the Bush Derangement Syndrome.

The journalist, Muntazer al-Zaidi from Al-Baghdadia channel which broadcasts from Cairo.
An Iraqi journalist yanked Zaidi to the ground before bodyguards collapsed on Zaidi. From the bottom of the pile, he moaned loudly and said “my hand, my hand.”
Some thought they heard “Don’t Taze Me Man“
Zaidi was hauled to a separate room, where his cries remained audible for a few moments. His employer, Cairo-based Baghdadiyah Television, released a statement late Sunday demanding Zaidi’s release from Iraqi custody.
“Any action taken against Muntathar will remind us of the actions and behaviors taken by the reign of the dictator and the violence, the random arrests, the mass graves and confiscations of freedom from the people,” the board of Baghdadiyah said.
Friends said Zaidi covered the U.S. bombing of Baghdad’s Sadr City area earlier this year and had been “emotionally influenced” by the destruction he’d seen. They also said he’d been kidnapped in 2007 and held for three days by Shiite Muslim gunmen.
He spent more than two days blindfolded, barely eating and drinking, after armed men forced him into a car as he walked to work on Friday morning in the bustling Bab al-Sharji area of central Baghdad.
“My release is a miracle. I couldn’t believe I was still alive,” Zaidi, 28, told Reuters by telephone.
Zaidi said the kidnappers had beaten him until he lost consciousness. They used his necktie to blindfold him and bound his hands with his shoelaces.”
One could only imagine what would have become of him in the good old days of Iraq.
It demonstrates a couple of things – one is that MSNBC has someone to fill their vacant spots, and that the gloaters from the left better hope that the Secret Service improves their skills for Obama.
And from Austin Powers…
UPDATE: Replicas of the US flag are burnt during a protest against a visit by US President George W. Bush and the arrest of an Iraqi journalist in the eastern Baghdad district of Sadr City. The Iraqi journalist who caused a furore when he hurled his shoes at the visiting US president, “detested America” and had been plotting such an attack for months, his colleagues have said.

It also shows that Bush has great reflexes and that he is one brave guy – you never know what might have been in those shoes. The secret service seems to have been in a back room and only arrived after!

When I saw this all I could think of was “Random Task” from the first Austin Powers movie. I was impressed with Bush’s reaction time. However, the Secret Services Agents were caught napping, I mean he managed to throw both shoes. Could have been worst if it was Canada we would have thrown skates at him ouch!

Thank you for telling the world what the entire world thinks of this dog.
Bush illegaly invaded using WMDS – chemical weapons at Falluja- against a sovereign nation to remove a non compliant CIA installed dictator who he claimed possessed WMDs. As a result the CIA trained and equipped Osama Bin laden was able to gain strength and establish bases in Iraq resulting in the deaths of countless Iraqis.
Ahhhh …… sorry I forgot you Americans have the attention span of a gold fish, never travel outside your state and believe everything told to you by Fox news.
