Most people feel smug about Hybrids and bicycles , but they don’t research them to see exactly how much Energy goes into making them or shipping them.
Bikes are now coming from China , they use Oil and Rubber
after they are sold and have used high amount of Electricity to assemble them.
Hybrids or Electric cars create far more polution for the future than they try to solve today because of the chemicals and metals mixed up inside a sealed unit , plus we need to solve the problem for how we became dependant on cars because I know for a fact that most people who would buy a car getting 80 MPG will merely drive more often and spend that same money for fuel.
Think of it like Welfare , if we throw more money at people they will merely have more kids or buy a bigger TV or better DVd player. Every year at Tax time people will get a refund and spend it as if it’s Free-Money , they don’t understand that they were “Over-taxed” which created a “Surplus” and that amount was sent back to you.
They stole YOUR money and then had to give some back , but they tricked you into feeling good about it so you don’t catch on to the scam.
