I have a couple of question for them.

Do they accept donations of ammunition?

Is it okay if the bullets are shipped separately, and at 2800 fps?

fernstalbert…You are onto a good point here, the liberal brothers in Iraq and Afghanistan need the worlds help. Not to make them paranoid or anything, should any of they or their sympathizers read this, but those rice sized transmitters could be put into their food or equipment especially if turkey cooperates to enable them to join NATO or something. And they sure know what those guided JDAMS do
to hungry Jihadis don’t they. I guess it would be better if the mooselim brothers fight on with rocks and sticks then trust any aid which might be contaminated with listening devices. Hell, they could even make that a new 6th pillar of islam..jihad of the rock. We could also send long rubber gloves so they can artificially inseminate goats easier or even cows for more meat. I think allah would love them even more if they all ran screaming holding rocks over their heads towards the nearest infidel outpost, and thanks to allah he has given them many more rocks to throw when they have thrown those. Rocks would make good bullet hole plugs, when ground into powder all their dietary mineral needs will be met, no cholesterol, who could ask for more. Then after a hard day of rock throwing,
just like their palestinian brothers, squatting in the heat they could inseminate goats and cows and who knows sneak in a few pigs, I wont tell. I think al-kinda would do just fine with what allah has already given them.

Ahh..the joys of logistics, eh boys?

Even when you are a 21st century, industrialized nation, there are problems.

In Stalingrad, in a previous war near the end, the Germans figured they would need to fly in 13 tonnes of supplies (that’s everything from ammunition to rations to spare parts etc..) A DAY to keep nearly 100,000 soldiers at near subsistence levels.

Can you imagine the cost and manpower to do this?

Or supply a modern army on the battlefield?

Then think that the Canadians have spent billions to keep a rotating force of 2500 soldiers in the field.

Choke off the lifeblood of any army and they will die.Pure and simple.

Where is the UN – this is a humanitarian mission that they could really get their aid to, there would be no problem with supplies being highjacked. They could provide safe haven camps while they feed and clothe the al-Quaeda fighters. Poor things they now need our sympathy and understanding. Perhaps sanctuary could be arranged with a friendly nation while they gather their strength to return to the jihad. Gitmo will soon be available.
