Gotcha – Newt Gingrich Says It All

January 20th, 2012 Posted in Obama

CNN gets exposed, along with the media in general for carrying the left’s water.

Taking the media to task, finally. Newt Gingrich says it all:

“I think the destructive, vicious, negative nature of much of the news media makes it harder to govern this country, harder to attract decent people to run for public office.  And I am appalled that you would begin a presidential debate on a topic like that.”

Agreed. King was classless in asking the question. Especially as the first question.

But Newt is the biggest hypocrite on this.

He actively used the media to go after, in the most dispicable way, Clinton’s personal family issues. Now he doesn’t think it is appropriate.

He actively campaigns on family values. But thinks it is inappropriate to ask him family related questions.

This is why he has had such hard time getting any traction within his own party.

yeah difference is though even though I think the same is newt wasn’t president of the united states either and Clinton was. newt may end up being the president but at least he will be vented now. ronald reagn cheated on his frist wife to. it happens and there is hypocriticals all the time. Herman Cain should learn something on how to muzzle media and that is how it’s done. he could have still been in it then.

  3. Louise M. Says:

Newt’s been around long enough, he must have anticipated the question. He handled it well. In the CNN post debate discussion, King was put up as some kind of media hero for standing up to the big bad Conservative.

  4. Alain Says:

No matter what one thinks of Newt’s politics, he deserves a big bravo for exposing this attempt at manipulation instead of honest reporting. It is high time that others do the same, for most of us are sick of this rubbish. We have the same thing going on in Canada, and I am waiting for a few Canadian Newts to do the same; to call them out on this spin.

agreed alian, Loise M I wasn’t trying to put down newt gigrich if it appeared. I was trying to be fair. I am a newt gingrich supporter I just wish I could vote but since I am a proud canadian with a great PM our selves I can’t I was just politely commenting on teds comment.

Rootin’-Tootin’ Newton hit the nail right on the head. Rather than focus on the issues (and I don’t consider a person’s personal life…aside from actual criminal convictions…to be an issues)such as jobs, the economy, foreign relations, environmental activism, banking regulations and such they grasp at every gutter-level piece of innuendo as if it were the gospel.Canada’s longest serving Prime Minister used to talk to his dead mother, but the consensus seems to be that he did a pretty good job. Too often the press jumps aboard each and every salacious bit of gossip and makes it the focal point of political debate. The axiom of the news industry: “If it bleeds…it leads” represents an amoral viewpoint that people are growing weary of.

if any republican expects to get elected it will be necessary to stop these faux debates with democrat moderators asking stupid questions. ask a policy question and then contrast the answer with obama’s policy. that is the only way to get the idiot voters to see what is actually going on in the u.s. the msm will not do that.
