The way Scott Brown spoke about driving around Massachusetts in his red truck (with 200,000 miles on it?) appealed to us all. He's like us.

When he spoke, I could identify with what he said. "Can you believe I'm on the same stag with Doug Flutie"? We've all had that thought...and it is humbling, and ingratiating him with his audience (nice to know too that he recognized one of the great stars of Mass. football).

My favorite part of Brown's talk was when he talked about the "availability of his two daughters", well one daughter, the basketball one. Every girl has been through that moment of embarrassment with her Dad..and you could see it in his daughter's face.

Obama bashed the truck, and managed to get run over by the voters running to the polls to vote for Brown.

It is just the beginning.
