I’ve Always Wondered

Why, in Canada, does the term “right-wing” always precede anything that doesn’t fully agree with the left-wing viewpoint?

It’s so bad that whenever I don’t see the term in front of a news source or blog, I turn away.

It’s kind of like the funny way they describe disgraced politicians in the US… If it’s a Republican you’ll always see a big ‘R’ in front the name, but if it’s a Democrat it will always be absent.

I guess I should be honored...

Although I wish they called The New York Times a “left-wing rag”
