No, Thank You Chrysler.
$100,000 for this ad in The Wall Street Journal thanking taxpayers for their forced generosity.

For those with not-so-good eyesite:
Chrysler, America was proud to “invest” in your company during these trying econoomic times. Sure, some of us are stuggling to pay our bills, heat our homes, feed and clothe our kids and lost our life savings after being bent over by Bernie Madhoff, but that is seconday to our concern for the comfort of the union bosses, various political careers and the well-being of auto executives.
Though Americans “invested” in Chrysler in the same way a fire hydrant outside the dog pound “invests” in a shower, our children will forever thank the government and Chrystler for saving the auto industy in a way that will ensure they’ll never be able to afford to buy your cars. What a well thought out plan.
P.S. – Since all Americans are Chrysler “investors” now, when might we expect that first dividend check?

Hmmm . . . anyone notice that full-page ad from GM in the National Post today?
Wonder how much it cost.
