Obama’s support for late-term abortion puts him squarely as “arguably the most ardent and least apologetic defender of legal abortion-on-demand ever to hold the United States presidency“. Notre Dame sent a clear message to its new graduates by honoring a politician who has spent his entire career resisting even the smallest legal protection for the unborn.
To tomorrow’s Catholic leaders, Notre Dame has said that the direct and deliberate taking of innocent human life through abortion is just one issue among many, and nothing worth getting too upset about.
Keep in mind, that as a presidential hopeful, Obama described babies as “punishment.” In a March 29, 2008 in Pennsylvania, Obama said: “Look, I’ve got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”
Conscious is a funny thing… even for abortionists.
