Obama The Joker Enraging The Left
An poster showing Barack Obama as the Joker has stirred up his supporters.
The striking poster from an unknown source has been pasted up in subways and other public spaces across the US.
Writing in the newspaper LA Weekly, politics reporter Steven Mikulan said: “It has a bit of everything to appeal to the drunk tank of California conservatism.”
“The only thing missing is a noose.”
I don’t see the race angle – as much as the race-baiters would like to use it.
The Guardian tries it’s best to invoke race:
The Joker poster is mean-spirited, sure, as plenty of satirical images are, but is it dangerous? If it is, it comes down to race. As with the New York Post cartoon that conflated an Obama initiative and the shooting of a rogue ape, it’s a moot point whether the intention was bigoted: the simple fact of publishing an image of a black president with his face covered in white greasepaint but for the eyes and a red slash of a mouth can’t help but evoke a minstrel aesthetic, even if it’s in reverse. An argument could be made that the inflammatory potential of such imagery is likely to outweigh any potential satirical value.

Folks, if you have the slightest “conservative bent”, which I believe most people in the “world” do, then I wouldn’t be so smug in touting what enrages the leftists. What you conservatives need to do is to start be worried about what enrages the right. For example, forced busing?, affirmative action for everyone but a native–Canadian, American, German, etc., quotas for everyone but Mr./Mrs.Canadian, German, Irish, Italian, Australian,etc. THE POINT I AM MAKING IS SIMPLE. ON EVERY IMPORTANT ISSUE TO THE NATIVE BORN CITIZENS OF WESTERN NATIONS, THE LEFTISTS HAVE WON EVERY SINGLE ISSUE AND THE CONSERVATIVES HAVE LOST EVERY SINGLE IMPORTANT ISSUE TO THEM. PERIOD!!

Considering the fact that Obama is half-white (his mother was a white woman), how could that poster of Obama be construed as being racist? If somebody had darkened Obama’s face on a poster to make him look more black, would that have been racist?

“Racist” is the One Size Fits All response from the PC crowd whenever one of their Sacred Cows gets gored. I immediately recognized the imagery here from the Batman movie; no way it conjures up any thoughts of “reverse blackface!” What it does succinctly depict is someone who’s a total FRAUD!
