America’s new standing in the world after 1 1/2 years of Obama:
“The Obama administration has managed to convince most countries around the world that we are worth little as friends and even less as enemies.”
What do the following have in common: the piling on Israel after the botched interception of the Hamas relief flotilla, the Chinese military telling the U.S. secretary of defense that he was not welcome in Beijing, and the declaration by Nick Clegg—now deputy prime minister of Great Britain—that his country’s special relationship with America is over?
Iran set to confront Israel? With the Jahidists are now emboldened, it’s a matter of time before something major starts.
Good thing the world can count on America. The stage is set.

It does feel as if humanity has come to a major crossroad leaving us teetering on the razor’s edge. The world is in great danger right now due to humanity’s inability to mature and evolve higher than our worst basic instincts we see every day on elementary school yards; to bully and intimidate others, to seek to conquer and destroy instead of communicate and share with others, to behave with extreme rudeness and thoughtless mannerr instead of in a dignified and thoughtful manner towards others. Have you seen the pictures of the
Pelicans, Dolphins, Sea Turtles and other wildlife suffocating in the oil slick along the Gulf Coast? That is us, that is humanity right now, drowning in our own failures. Who is going to rescue us from ourselves? There is only One I know of that can clean up our hearts and minds.

Whoever planned the initial raid on the flotilla was an idiot. If they passed this move by the White House and they approved it then Obama is an idiot. I still wonder if Israel will be liable for the deaths that resulted?
