Ready For The Influx?

As John McCain catches up to – and passes – Obama (he’s within 3 points now), the far left in the USA will once again threaten to abandon their country and move to Canada. (Or at least until they find out we are really conservative.)
I am still optimistic that McCain will win, as the election is always decided by a few factors:
1) Left-wing voters are more vocal than active – especially when it comes to getting off their rear and voting.
2) The US election is always decided by the middle – or the independents. The middle has shifted to McCain and will continue to as they discover Obama’s real socialist plans for the US. Obama shifting positions to the center won’t help.
3) Accorn will continue to dog Obama until election day – not only the voter fraud, but also the role it played in creating the current financial crisis.
4) The Bradley effect. Named after Tom Bradley, who lost his election for California governor in 1982 despite a substantial lead in the polls, the Bradley effect says that black candidates will poll much stronger than the actual election results. When Colin Powell has to state it’s not about race, you know it is.
5) Obama has already decided he’s won. They are working feverishly with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid getting the transition team ready. Can you remember one thing Pelosi and Reid have actually been involved with that succeeded. Let’s call it the Pelosi/Reid effect.
6) The American media has gone all out to get Obama elected – another reason he won’t. Americans don’t like to be told what to do, and have a general mistrust of the media.
As the economic news continues to get worse, America will become less likely to try the Obama experiment and will sway over to McCain.
So roll out the welcome mat, and get ready for the threatened influx again.
