Where’s PETA When You Need Them?
100 turkeys were mutilated and killed in Langley farm break-in this past Sunday.
Police said some of the turkeys were disemboweled and beheaded.
The attacker broke into a commercial turkey barn and maimed the birds using a tool found on the property, said RCMP Const. Holly Marks.
“Some were beheaded. Some were disemboweled. Some had to be euthanized,” Marks said.
The odd thing is that this isn’t the first time birds have been targeted.
In 1992, a man attacked and killed eight flamingos in a pen in Stanley Park.
In 1994, a middle-aged man killed four ducklings in a park by throwing stones at them.
