The Best Of Vancouver
Here are links to a few of the best things in Vancouver… for those looking to cut to the chase… especially helpful when you need to find the right people to do a good job.
The list is complied from my buying experiences.
1.) Best Vancouver Roofing Contractor for Metal Roofing and Interlock Roofing: Why mess around.. get metal. We have moss that grows like crazy on our roofs.
2.) Best BMW Dealership for Service. Although they sell BMWs at prices that are about double of what I paid in Florida… even though the Canadian dollar is at par. Hopefully the class action lawsuit against them on the importing on BMWs will be settled soon, and they’ll decide to compete. (They charged me $800 for a letter to say my car was OK to bring into Canada).
3.) Best Apple Store: These guys have been around as long as Apple, and you don’t have to put up with the “Genius” attitude.
4.) Best Bedding or Mattress: Wool comforters.. who thought? Simply amazing. And I learned that a latex mattress is also the best you can get.. yep, latex is natural.
5.) Best place to live in Vancouver.. Hands down Port Moody. Unless you work downtown. We have no freeways in Vancouver, so this 15 mile drive takes 45 minutes. So much for solving global warming – we site in our cars and idle our days away.
6.) Best Szechuan food: Chongqing Szechuan – there’s a shortage of this is Vancouver, believe it or not. Spicy or nothing for me. And it’s on Robson unfortunately.
7.) Best street to walk, eat and spend a Saturday on – Commercial. Or 10th. Skip Robson Street unless you’re a tourist.
8.) Best dinner after a great drive: Deep Cove’s Arms Reach Bistro Deep Cove. Great spot, food and atmosphere.
