Thinking Of Making My Blog Environmentally Friendly

A Dutch company has come up with a smart way to save ink by putting holes in a type font…
Introducing:

According to SPRANQ creative communications (Utrecht, The Netherlands) your ink cartridges (or ink toner) will last longer. After extensive testing with all kinds of shapes, the best results were achieved using small circles.
The font uses up to 20% less ink.
“After Dutch holey cheese, there now is a Dutch font with holes as well.”

Appealing ideas are often simple: how much of a letter can be removed while maintaining readability?
Unfortunately, in order to make the switch, I need all of you to install this font.
Free to download, free to use.

If the software is loaded, will it automatically make all fonts “holey” or is it selectable?
Regards,
Pat
Hi Pat, only the font you install will be like this… the rest will be the same.

I heard about this on the radio the other day!
Imagine how much the government could save if they used this.

Being of Dutch origin, I can appreciate the “cheapness” of this idea – use less ink, less ink to buy. I do not buy the environmentally friendly bit… it’s all water based ink.
