Denis  Karbovanec Down! The rest of the piggies to follow…

Indictment here.

Finally… after spending a small fortune protecting this loser, they have charged Denis  Karbovanec with the murders in Surrey in October 2007.

And it looks like this coward has turned on his accomplices:

A prominent gangster pleaded guilty on Friday in a surprise deal that appeared to be linked to the arrest of three other men police allege are members of the Red Scorpions gang. The gang has been at the center of a battle over the drug business in the Pacific Coast city and surrounding suburbs.

Jamie Bacon, 23, Matt Johnson, 24, and Cody Haevischer, 24, also face charges in the slayings. They are expected to be formally charged Saturday. All are linked to the Red Scorpion gang.

Karbovanec, 27, pleaded guilty to killing Mohan, Bartolomeo and Michael Lal. He pleaded guilty to conspiring to murder Corey Lal.

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Police have made major breakthroughs in the investigation of the Surrey Six massacre.  Twenty-seven year old Dennis Karbovanec has pleaded guilty to three of those killings.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Karbovanec pleaded guilty to the murders of 22-year-old Chris Mohan, 19-year-old Ryan Bartolomeo and 26-year-old Michael Lal of Surrey.  He also pleaded guilty to the conspiracy to commit the first degree murder of 21-year-old Corey Lal of Surrey.

IHIT says other arrests will be taking place today as well as in the coming days.

The home of Jamie and Jarrod Bacon, known associates of Karbovanec was surrounded by an Emergency Response Team in Abbotsford earlier today.

The bodies of six men were found following a gangstyle killing in the Surrey highrise in October 2007.  Family members of the victims involved in this tragedy will be present during a police press conference tomorrow, with further details of any more arrests.

Meanwhile News1130′s legal analyst Michael Shapray says Karbovanec could testify against his co-accused. He says there must be some levelof co-operation between Karbovanec and his co-conspirators.

Too bad we don’t have the death penalty – he qualifies…

Here’s the gang (and what’s left of them):
