Watch Franken Steal A Seat – Live
Watch Franken overtake the Coleman who, somehow, now only leads by 5 votes.
As the board, headed by Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, takes up more Coleman challenges, Franken is expected to pull ahead in the opening hour today.
UPDATE: Franken is now ahead by 190!!! And climbing. Looks like he may win…
Live online coverage of the MN Canvassing Board will resume this morning on StribStream.
You can even play along and go through each challenged ballot here.
Franken also appeared poised for another boost as board members appeared skeptical about the Coleman team’s proposal for preventing ballots from being counted twice. Talking about instances when a ballot couldn’t be run through a voting machine, requiring a duplicate to be made, the Coleman camp said the ballot should be counted only if an original could be matched with its copy.
The whole thing is a little fishy.

Do you actually have evidence of any wrongdoing on Franken’s part or is one deemed to be “stealing” a seat simply because they insist every ballot is counted properly?

OH COME ON! I’d even take a credible conservative as a source but Anne Coulter? Give me George Will, Charles Krauthammer, Bob Novak, etc. etc. etc. You wouldnt take me seriously if I cited Keith Olbermann as a source would you?

Ok then, this sums it up better:

The Point from Ann is:
“One heavily Democratic town miraculously discovered 100 missing ballots. And, in another marvel, they were all for Al Franken! It was like a completely evil version of a Christmas miracle.
As strange as it was that all 100 post-election, “discovered” ballots would be for one candidate, it was even stranger that the official time stamp for the miracle ballots printed out by the voting machine on the miracle ballots showed that the votes had been cast on Nov. 2 — two days before the election.
Democratic election officials in the miracle-ballot county simply announced that their voting machine must have been broken. Don’t worry about it — they were sure those 100 votes for Franken were legit.
Then another 400-odd statistically improbable “corrections” were made in other Democratic strongholds until — by the end of election week — Coleman’s lead had been whittled down to a mere 215 votes.
Since then, highly irregular counting methods have added to Franken’s total bit by bit, to the point that Coleman is now ahead by only 188 votes.”
Franken will find a way in – the Dems can’t afford not to have him. Lord know his days as a comedian are over… and radio wasn’t too nice to him either. He’ll fit right in with Nancy and Barney and the worst congress of all time.

I dont see any suggestion of wrongdoing in either of your sources (certainly not like Anne Coulter’s article). The gist of one is that 1000 disqualified absentee ballots should be counted (nothing wriong with at least considering that) and the other is that Democratic voters are “more creative” and more likely to fill in a ballot so a machine cant read it.
Certainly nothing even approaching the situation when Katherine Harris halted a recount.

Blair – Find someone other than Anne Coulter who verifies her facts.

Franken will win for the exact same reason that Obammie won. The man’ wants it to happen and he is of the right background.
