The site has been down or the weekend – leading to a few discoveries:
- Register.com should not be used for hosting. They took down the site because it was getting too much traffic, and causing a strain on the server. Which is the purpose and goal of a website. Time to move to a new server.
- Don’t host your site on a web host that doesn’t have staff on weekends – Murphy’s law.
- If you are using WordPress, use Wp Super Cache if you are getting traffic surges – this lessens resources.
Lesson learned, onward and upward.

I would highly recommend Hostgator.com. They have online and telephone tech support 24/7. And, absolutely no hassles.
