Who’s Paranoid?

More fodder for the cannons – Now Obama’s Democrats are using the Department Of Homeland Security to create a list of “Right Wing Extremists”. What they intend to do with this, is anyone’s guess.
You can download it here – and don’t say that you haven’t been warned.
The report reads like something only a 9/11 truther would describe, but it is real. Even the Chinese Government would approve.
Imagine, if you will, what the Left would say if we took this entire document and replaced all references to “military veterans” with “Muslims”, and all references to “abortion” with “universal health care”, and then predated this DHS report to 2008, during the Bush administration. They’d be screaming about being smeared as traitors for their political beliefs, and they’d be right to do so. That’s exactly what the Obama administration and Janet Napolitano has done here. (h/t)
This will come back to haunt the left, and I am guessing they’ll rewrite this chapter in history the way they did the McCarthy years - when President Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR), a Democrat brought in the The Alien Registration Act. Then, the House of Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), that had been set up by Congress to investigate people suspected of unpatriotic behaviour, decided it would be the best vehicle to discover if people were trying to overthrow the government.
We all know how well that worked out….
More proof, that compared to Bush, Obama has gone far beyond the policies that the left went ballistic over.
Take the warrantless wiretapping as an example.
First, they argued, exactly as the Bush Administration did on countless occasions, that the state secrets privilege requires the court to dismiss the issue out of hand. They argue that simply allowing the case to continue “would cause exceptionally grave harm to national security.” As in the past, this is a blatant ploy to dismiss the litigation without allowing the courts to consider the evidence.
It’s an especially disappointing argument to hear from the Obama Administration. As a candidate, Senator Obama lamented that the Bush Administration “invoked a legal tool known as the ‘state secrets’ privilege more than any other previous administration to get cases thrown out of civil court.” He was right then, and we’re dismayed that he and his team seem to have forgotten.
Sad as that is, it’s the Department Of Justice’s second argument that is the most pernicious. The DOJ claims that the U.S. Government is completely immune from litigation for illegal spying — that the Government can never be sued for surveillance that violates federal privacy statutes.
This is a radical assertion that is utterly unprecedented. No one — not the White House, not the Justice Department, not any member of Congress, and not the Bush Administration — has ever interpreted the law this way.
Welcome to the new land of Hope and Change.. and watch out for the neighborhood spies.
Enjoy the Tea Parties – let’s hope they wake America up before it’s too late.

So is voting Republican going to be outlawed? LOL I wouldn’t put it past them. It is becoming very apparent when they called us facists, nazis etc. that that was just personal projection. The liberal pigs have tasted power and they like it. Good for them I will enjoy watching them become what they said they hated, since it was in them all along. Micheal Savage was correct..liberalism is a mental disorder. The only good that can come of this is when the terrorists finally realize how easy it will be to attack us, and they really love those urban blue areas, it will be a kill ratio of about 10 liberals per 1 or 2 Republicans, not that I want the terrorists to attack, I dont..but..as Longshanks said in Braveheart..”One must see the good in every situation”.
